Svall Duo
Despite living not far away for decades and sharing bandmembers for years, Emelie and Sylvain only started playing together during New Year 2017-2018. They unashamedly put together traditional scandinavian tunes and modern compositions, covers and own compositions, hard rock and baroque experiences, and spice up all of this with tasty blue notes.
Svall Duo plays for concerts, balfolks and dance workshops, accoustic aswell as amplified, and gladly adapts its percentage of scandinavian/continental repertoire to the wishes of its audience.
Sylvain Pool comes from Switzerland where his guitar and cittern have rocked Vieille Branche and Grand Balthazar. Nowadays installed nearby Toulouse (France), he's to be heard with Nøkkenoc amongst others.

Harpavei
Emelie and Sara discovered that they had studied in the same swedish music schools... just not at the same time ! Their common-but-different experiences of scandinavian folk music easily found each other and grew together into a musical journey based on harps and voices, folk songs and dancing tunes, mists and trees and mountains. Sara Buffler comes from Alsace in north-eastern France. With her harp and her voice, she performs with many formations aswell as a lot in solo.
Balfolk Emelie solo
Emelie needs only her instruments to make dancers turn on the dancefloor all night long ! The recipe ? Her favourite swedish tunes, some balfolk repertoire and personal compositions.
Nyckelharpa, fiddle, singing and foot percussion. Accoustic or with amplification.
Workshops ideas before the dance : nyckelharpa, swedish fiddle, swedish repertoire, scandinavian dances...

Knupia
Knupia is the story of two bands becoming a family. It is Sweden, the Netherlands and Switzerland united in a common balfolk and scandinavian repertoire. Knep and Nubia put all their musicians and dance teachers together on stage, for a visible tight-bond energy carrying the dancers' feet all night long.

KNEP is a folk duo from Switzerland which plays swedish traditional music as well as personal compositions. It's a lot of silly things, like octopuses on stage, carrots, unexpected instruments and costumes never seen on a dancefloor. It's a solution for how to survive in very cold conditions.
