While Emelie's nyckelharpa paints a steady polska melody, Sylvain's guitar riffs furiously on heavy chords, and when Emelie's fiddle goes madly blue, Sylvain's cittern lays a calming drone-like line underneath. From halling to hanter dro, from schottis to bourrée, these two untamed musicians are sure to keep their dancers grinning until everyone collapses from happy dancing exhaustion !
Despite growing up in the same region of Switzerland and sharing bandmembers for years, it took decades for Emelie and Sylvain to start playing together. And what a discovery ! From similar favourite tunes to electric jam sessions, they started playing together on stage at Les Ptits Balloches 2017 and have since then brought their daring arrangements to diverse corners of France, Belgium, the Netherlands and of course their native Switzerland.
