Here a detailed critic of 'Prelude' by CeltCast Here it is !! I talked about that collaboration of the spring 2019 with Philip Xander from the Netherlands, an album of his for which I had been invited to record a few tunes on nyckelharpa... Well now it's out, available, and reviewed (by Cliff of CeltCast who also reviewed my first album with Knep some years ago). I really like how my parts turned out, with a soft spot for the chops on nyckelharpa, because they were so much fun to record (listen) ! Also the full album is varied, rich, always surprising yet precise and feels like "knowing what it means". A lot of accoustic guitar, harp, drums, keyboards, mandolin, fiddle...

This album is one of the best that I have ever listened to. I think that all of the songs here have a certain weight in them. If we can go and think about the meaning behind these songs, then that would be great. We cannot ask the author directly, because every song is personal to them. I hope that we can give meaning to these songs in our own way, or at least that is what we should be trying to do. It is important that we know this.
